Every country in Europe has a long history of dancing. At Phoenix Dance Studio this is reflected most obviously in the ballroom dances such as the elegant Waltz from Austria and the passionate Paso Doble from Spain.
However, the very idea of dancing with one partner exclusively in a close hold is a very European idea that has influenced every single dance style that we teach here. Dance styles, just like music, influence each other and weave together to create something new or to bring a fresh idea and perspective to an existing form.
